AAID Bone Grafting Course

On June 25th and 26th Dr. Wilson is attended the American Academy of Implant Dentistry bone grafting course at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. The course involved both lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions focused on relevant head and neck anatomy; chin, ramus and subantral grafts; bone expansion techniques; soft tissue management relating to dental implants; and more. The course allowed Dr. Wilson and the other attending dentists to keep up with the latest techniques, expand their extensive knowledge of the facial bones, and get additional hands-on experience in regards to dental implants procedures.

Had my initial cleaning and digital x-rays taken. The staff each greeted me, shook my hand, introduced herself and went over my dental history, needs and concerns. Dr. Wilson examined my mouth, saw that I needed some improvement in the night guard I brought in and immediately shaved it along the sides so it would be slimmer and fit better. She pointed out problem areas on the colored pictures of each tooth so I would be better informed on the course of action that needs to be taken.

I lost a molar and reluctantly, because of fear of the unknown, decided to have a dental implant. My hesitation was unfounded and Dr. Craig Cooper did the placement of the mechanics. My personal dentist, Dr. Wilson, put on the crown and it fits and looks fabulous, exactly like a real tooth. When I went to the implant specialist, he remarked on how terrific her work looked and how her patients dental work always looked great. That made me feel good, but it made me realize what super hands me and my teeth are in. Thanks, to you, Dr. Wilson. Side-note to Libby in the office; the fingers have it–keep smiling!

Dr. Wilson is our dentist. My last appointment was three months ago. My wife and I see her two or three times a year. We’ve been seeing her for over 15 years. She is a wonderful and fantastic dentist. The office is fantastic; it is really nice. The staff is friendly

I am so impressed with the friendliness, knowledge, kindness, professionalism of this team. They have up-to-date technology and are very cooperative in communicating and showing you pictures of your teeth so that you see what they see and can come to the same conclusions about which paths to take in the process of providing the patient with the best possible dental care. I trust them and so glad that I found them even though I have to drive over 20 miles for a visit. It’s worth it to me to have this kind of peace of mind in knowing they are thorough in their cleanings as well as their assessment of my dental needs. Dr. Wilson is very caring and sharp in her assessment for a plan of action and providing the best care for her patient. She doesn’t stop until she has taken care of every concern. I am in GREAT hands!!

This is the first time I have been to a new dentist in all of my life, I moved to Indianapolis recently and could no longer make the trips to see my hometown dentist. So, I was a little more nervous about finding a new dentist to use. However, this was experience was not as nerve wrecking as I expected! Dr. Wilson and her staff are very friendly, make sure you are comfortable, and show that they truly care about your well being. For example it had been a bit longer than 6 months for my cleaning, so when the hygienist began the process of cleaning my teeth, I cringed maybe more than most. She then suggested that I come back again for a special cleaning that would make my mouth healthier along with the cleaning process a little more gentle. She then walked me through the process and we talked more about my options.

We have been seeing her for several years. My daughter and granddaughter also go there now. She is a wonderful, personable doctor. Not only her, but also her staff, take the time to know each of their patients individually. She really listens to you. I told her that I am a wimp as far as getting shots because I bruise easily. She is so gentle and I have not had any bruising from my shots, which is amazing.

I first went to Dr. Wilson close to 14 or 15 years ago. I had not been to a dentist prior to that for several years because I dreaded the drilling pain so much due to past experience as a child. Dr. Wilson has taken away my fear of the dentist and in the process has fixed my teeth. She has never started work on me before I am numb. Her office is modern with everything she needs to do a great job and everything I need to relax. I watch TV while she works which really helps to keep from focusing on what she is doing. I appreciate the warmth and friendliness of her staff who always make me comfortable. Dr. Wilson is very professional but also calm and reassuring. I went to her before she even carried my insurance because I knew I would not find a better office or dentist.
