CEREC® MC XL
We utilize the CEREC 4.0 system, which is a fully automated milling process, to complete all-ceramic restorations in a single visit to our office. Our patients give us great feedback on this technology!
At Premier Dental Care, we are dedicated to using the latest dental technology to take care of your smile. As part of this effort, Dr. Wilson and Dr. Klōckōw are excited to introduce the GALILEOS 3D imaging system. Also known as a cone beam or cone beam computed technology, the GALILEOS 3D allows our dental team to take powerful 3D images of your teeth, gums, jaw, and facial structure.
How does cone beam technology work?
Taking images with the GALILEOS 3D is simple, fast, and painless. There is a comfortable rest for your chin and forehead, and as you sit still, the GALILEOS 3D quickly scans around your head, capturing the needed images almost instantly. With cone beam 3D imaging in Indianapolis, Indiana, we can obtain highly accurate and intricately detailed views of your entire smile.
What can cone beam technology be used for?
Using cone beam technology allows our dentists and team to gain a better understanding of your smile and plan effective, personalized treatments. We are able to diagnose conditions, create comprehensive treatment plans, and receive aid during treatment. The images taken can include your bones, teeth, gums, tooth orientation, tooth and nerve relation, and your airways and sinuses. We most often use the GALILEOS 3D to help us with tooth extractions, dental implants, and any surgical treatments. This technology is also useful in detecting hidden cysts and tumors that would regularly go unseen.
Is cone beam technology safe?
The health and safety of your smile is very important to us. We are pleased to let you know that the GALILEOS 3D imaging system is one of the safest ways to take 3D images of your smile and all of its components. In fact, the GALILEOS 3D is smaller, uses less radiation, and requires less time than normal computed technology. This helps us ensure you have a positive, safe experience each and every time.
If you would like to come and see our cone beam technology for yourself, please contact our dental office today. We would love to give you a tour and answer all of your questions. We are excited to offer you and your family great dental technology to help your smile.
DIAGNOdent Laser Cavity Detection
The DIAGNOdent laser cavity detection system helps us detect tooth decay before it destroys the structure of the tooth. It allows our skilled dentists to diagnose cavities that still lie below the enamel surface of the teeth and measure the depth of decay. We can then stop the spread of disease before it damages the tooth further.
We utilize the SOPROLIFE Daylight intraoral camera to view images of the inside of your mouth with both blue light and white light. This helps us with specific observations of the structures around the tooth, including the gums, with the white light, while the blue light focuses on the tissues of the tooth itself.
Dimension-3 Dental Loupes
Dimension-3 dental loupes provide a large depth of field, the best resolution across the entire field of view, and the brightest images for enhanced care.
The CDR Elite is the product of several years of development, was created with input from the world’s largest digital intraoral radiography client base, and underwent one of the most extensive field-testing programs before being introduced to our office. The CDR Elite system is a comfortable digital radiography system that allows us to instantly view the X-ray images on our flat-screen monitors. Dr. Wilson and Dr. Klōckōw can enhance the images through contrast, coloring, and magnification to provide a more accurate diagnosis.
WaterLase® Dental Laser
At Premier Dental Care, the TLC System includes an overhead, flat-screen LCD screen that allows you to watch TV or DVDs during your appointment. This system also allows the screen to rotate to accommodate your position in the chair.
